Sindhri mango, often called the (Queen of Mangoes) originates from Sindhri, a town in Sindh, Pakistan. It is widely cultivated in Mirpur Khas and other regions of Sindh, known for its large, oval shape and vibrant yellow skin. This mango is exceptionally sweet and aromatic, with a smooth texture and minimal fiber, making it ideal for milkshakes and desserts. Early in the season, it may have a slight tangy aftertaste, but it ripens into a rich, honey-like sweetness. Sindhri mangoes are available from late May to June, with peak harvesting in early June. They have a longer shelf life compared to other varieties, making them a preferred choice for export.
